Impact: To date, Influx remains one of my most treasured projects, not just for its emotional resonance, but because what we envisioned in pre-production materialized exactly on screen. Standing by the monitor during multiple shots, I was struck by seeing our creative intentions perfectly captured—a rare and magical production achievement.

Director Daniel Uribe placed tremendous trust in me, having only formed our partnership 6-8 weeks before filming. As he revealed his vision, I recognized we were kindred creative spirits. This mutual respect allowed me to bring my full production expertise and creative insights to the table, knowing they would be valued and incorporated.

My producing approach was deliberately calibrated for this indie narrative project—provide comprehensive structure and guidance initially, then step back to let the creative process unfold organically. As the director's essential production partner, I balanced creative aspirations against practical constraints, identifying potential challenges and resolving them before they affected the shoot. This level of candor and trust isn't automatic in production relationships—it's cultivated through clear communication, reliability, and shared creative commitment.
